Dry Cleaning
We aim to clean all garments to the best standard we can, there may be times your item is not quite ready on your collection date as weve decided to re-process it stated on the ticket but otherwise we always aim to have your items ready for you perfectly on time.
Care Label Instructions are followed at all times. If the item doesnt have one or it has become unvisible, the item is processed at owners own risk.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer cleaning of curtains with ‘black out’ lining.
Flat Laundry
Our Flat Ironing days are Tuesday (collection after 10.30am Wednesday) and Thursdays (collection after 10.30am Friday).
Iron only Linen is best delivered to us wet (not soaking) ensuring you’ve spun it and placed In a bag, on the morning of our ironing days or the afternoon before.
All buttons and poppers are at risk of breaking or melting in the rotary ironer.
Service Washes
Service Washes (wash,dry and fold)
Service washes are processed as a whole load, please ensure you are happy with all items to be washed together on a 40C cycle and dried in our tumble dryer.
All rugs and pillows are processed at owners own risk.
Large bulky items such as rugs, blankets and mattress protectors are not included in service washes.
The Sewing Box
As many of you now know Emma aka ‘Cheryl’ has retired to her sewing corner after 27 years here at the shop and is now gradually stitching her way through the mountain of sewing she’d buried herself in.
Sewing is currently taking between 10-14 days, if you wish to discuss any sewing queries with Emma please feel free to help yourself to one of the Sewing Box cards.
Any items held for over three months by Cheryls will be donated to charity.
