| Tony Parker 1983 – 2003 Tony Previously Managed Battle Laundry and training in the traditional methods found in the large old laundries. After Battle laundry closed down, Tony opened Cheryl Cleaners with a single dry cleaning machine and press. From this small beginning, he went on to open the first dry cleaners in Wadhurst, and a further shop in Tunbridge Wells. 2003- 2021 Employing Emma McGrath (Light) for many years, she then went on to take over from Tony on his retirement in 2003. Emma started with a 25lb and 35lb load upgrading the machinery over the 10 years. For the first year Emma owned Cheryl Cleaners, the dry cleaning was sourced out and Emma invested £26,000 in the latest Bowei German technology insuring the success for the next 9 years and always investing in the latest technology.
